The Redbacks Floorball Club recently applied for, and was successful, in receiving a community grant from the City of Armadale. The club received a $500.00 grant for equipment purchase and was invited to attend a morning tea and join with other successful organisations in being acknowledged for the community involvement & support. The club was asked to speak to the attendees at the morning tea and showcase the sport of Floorball so people had a better understanding of the sport. Armadale Mayor Linton Reynolds will attend a morning tea and presentation for recipients of the most recent round of community grants.

 “The ventures these community grants support are always quite diverse and this round is no exception,” Cr Reynolds said.  “The City is pleased to support these groups and many other volunteer-based organisations in our region that make significant contributions to the community in a variety of ways.”
